Some items I would take: - Some art supplies and a small sketchbook - My laptop and charger - My phone and charger - A blanket from home - a toothbrush and toothpaste - family pictures? - my journal - a candle Sketches Sent through email This being our first online project, how did our new format change your experience of working in this class?  Since this class is mostly on our computers already, I found that it did not really change my experience much. Yes, it is much easier to be in a classroom setting if I have a question, but the tutorials on Tinkercad made this project easier.  How did you challenge yourself creatively, conceptually and/or technically  in the making of this piece? I challenged myself conceptually because I needed to find a way to represent my dog instead of actually making a mini figure of her. In what way did you change your process to make a piece that was site specific?  I had to change the size of my piece to make it site specific. I also had to make sure the orientation of the piece would be able to show the city in the background.  How did you challenge yourself creatively, conceptually and/or technically  in the making of this piece? If you did not feel challenged is there something you would do differently if you were to do it again? I had to challenge myself creatively because of my complication with the print center. I had to change my design very quickly and still make it so my message would get across. Conceptually I was challenged because my idea was very broad and had to be brought down into one image.  Were there elements that made the completion of this piece either more difficult or felt not challenging enough? 1. I am a firm believer that actions speak louder than words so this video is really interesting to me. I never thought about how movement can tell a story in a movie or video. It is interesting to see the contrast between older movies and the movement within them and how static some current movies are. The older films almost have more impact on the viewer because they do not need to always use dialogue. 2. With the amount of shots that an editor may blend together, the video can sometimes become very choppy. This cutting between scenes can be smooth or it can be a harsh contrast. I found it interesting how different cuts can effect how we view a movie or video. I personally love the movement between scenes when the "screen is wiped" because it is a clear and flawless transition. 3.
